My 73 C&C 30 mk1 came with a 170 also. I thought it might be possible to have
it cut when I get the furling hardware. It is a handful to fold on the deck and

This is the end of our 3rd season with Destrier, our 73 C&C30 mk1. I bought it
from the second owner who had it for over 30 years. He was a high school
teacher who used it to introduce sailing to his students. The original owner
bought it to race and had it fitted out for sailing as they did it

I reinstall when I want venting for the chain locker. There is a small

lid. I keep the anchor in the locker until I am ready to deploy.

Hello,
I have a 1973 30mk1. It came with what originally I assumed was a plastic
covered opening for a dorade or inspection port in the bow for the V-berth. But
in climbing all the way forward to check the running lights, I found that the
deck opening was just forward of a bulkhead up there. So
Hello Edd
I have questions about the rendezvous. This would be the first for me. My wife,
son and daughter-in-law would like to drive out to see us at the rendezvous.
How would that be considered? There would be three of us staying on the boat.

Not sure if I understand how the list works yet. I hope I'm responding just to
you. I was looking forward to the rendezvous as I am coming from your
neighborhood and it was a days sail for me. Milford still fits the bill for me.
I'm in either way.

I remember completing information to join the list. There are quite a few us

projects include all new thru-hulls with proper seacocks.

I also have a 30-1 from '73 and would like to see how you mounted the bimini.
My boom was originally a boom that could roll the main around it (the boom has
a fitting near the mast the you attach a handle to and roll up the mast) Of

Hi Lisle;
I acquired my C&C 30 MK1 last year. I love it. My Destrier is practically all
original with no self tailing winches or roller furling headsail. Part of it's
charm to me. The only issue beyond my ability is that mine came with a couple
of soft spots. Especially the cockpit sole where P

I think I understand your solution. I like it! It took a minute but you turned
the rudder 90 degrees and came straight down the cockpit well toward the
transom through the wooden guide.
Thanks

Looking for some guidance on a problem with my newly acquired 73 C&C30 . I Have
play in the tiller and I'm trying to determine if the play is the result of
"egging" around the through bolt or the piece that I think is called the rudder
head. The rudder head is attached to the rudder shaft by 2 b

I'm having a problem with replacing the sheaves at the of of my C&C 30 mast.
The axles don't go all the way through so they can't be pushed out. They are
held in place with an attached cover piece over one end. I got it to move a

@ Gary and Randy, I just got Destrier, a 30-1 last year and pulled the mast
