D = Drain for emptying the Heater of Potable Water for winterizing.

My previous answer was for venting the freshwater side.
For the engine coolant side, as long as the heater is below-ish the engine
then just run the engine. The coils will flush out the air and the air
will accumulate in the engine. After a minute or two of engine run time
stop the engine and re
The rusty lever in the top left is the P&T relief valve. With water
aligned pull the lever. When solid water flows, you're done.
