Our 35-2 has a modest reverse transom, and the through-hull I got would have just allowed for drainage, but I decided to put on the aft quarter, about 12" forward of the transom edge. The heater is just below the deck, so it's all downhill to the outlet, and I've had no issues so far. Many newer
