This afternoon (3pm) I was finally able to locate the sneaky Pine Warbler at
Denver West. The bird was associating with a mixed flock of Bushtits and others
in the center of the trapezoid formed by buildings 18, 19, 6 and 7. After a

This morning I was walking along CR 120 south of Penrose when a flock of
four or five dozen Rosy-Finches landed on the limestone bluff next to the
road. All of the ones I could identify were Gray-crowned Rosy-finches.
Later on at home, looking over some group photos of the flock, I only fo

I've been in New Mexico for the last week and when I got home this
afternoon the elk had dismantled the feeding stations so I don't have any
idea if the finches were here today.

towards Pacific Wren than Winter and call was definitely Pacific Wren. I didn't
