I observed this warbler from 8:28-8:32am today. My fifth attempt, and so
happy to have seen such a beautiful bird! It was present for about a half
hour before I saw it, observed by the homeowners and by Andy Bankert.
When the warbler left the feeder, it flew into the pine tree on the other
The Yellow-throated Warbler continued this morning, and it seems like it is
going to stick around for a while. It made two visits to the feeder
between 8:00 and 8:30 this morning in the snow.

I had a group of about 15 white-throated swifts at 1pm over the Arkansas River
near the Osprey Picnic Area below the dam at Pueblo. They were working their

Hi cobirders.Bushtits, about ten or twelve stayed around the feeders and

I wish I had redpolls or rosy-finches in my yard, but I can't claim that
joy yet. Still, there were highlights in the yard on this snowy day. An
impressive adult *Northern Goshawk* put in an appearance early on, landing
for a time in my neighbor's yard and sending the local magpies into fits. I
Maybe it's not huge, but this is the first time I have had a white winged junco
among the other slate colored, Oregon, and pink sided juncos at my feeders. I
