COBirders, As expected, the deep snow in this area has concentrated the Fountain Creek Regional Park passerines around the front and back feeders at the visitor center. The Purple Finch, first found on 14Dec15 by a Boulder County CBC team, seems less shy and it was visiting the front feeders

Speaking of Says' phoebes, I have a question about whether or not they would eat box elder bugs. I have had a terrible infestation of Box Elder bugs for the last couple of years and, last spring, I saw hundreds of baby Box Elder bugs running around my garden. I had Say's phoebes nesting
