certainly plenty of goodies in the South Denver Metro area right now, and
we've probably only really gotten good looks at a fraction of them.
Thayer's, Lesser Black-backed etc. also represented, but no Glock or
Glock-winged. No Yellow-legged either.

Looking at it now- friendly, exposed and alone at the model airplane field
parking lot. Metro listers-now is a nice chance to see this often very tricky

Just got the Yellow-throated. All three warblers are currently in the same tree
at the SW corner of the pond, in a mixed flock with 2-3 BCCH, a couple HOFI
etc. The flock has been mostly on the west half of the lake, and is pretty easy
to locate.

North Atlantic,
regularly shows up in the Eastern US, and by all accounts should be
physically capable of making it to Colorado as a natural vagrant. Just food
for thought.
Fantastic find Steve!!!

Just had it from the main tourist parking area at Horsetooth (near “Rotary

Just got great looks in the snow from another location- for those looking, the
bird has been generally foraging near the point (40.5431134,-105.1525370) in
the reservoir for a while now; careening around, fluttering, and occasionally
landing on the water.

North of the previous location, still on the W side of the res. Look for
birders and you'll find the most recent location pretty easily. No one is
currently on the bird. Also had a Black-throated Gray here about 10 mins ago.

That would be exceptionally rare and a first state record, but Yellow
Grosbeak (and other south-of-the-border specialties) are theoretically
possible in Durango. Please link to your photos or send them out.

I'll throw on my contribution: a lone *COMMON POORWILL *(!) that flew into

Sure made up for the Rockies' loss!

those coordinates. The flock isn’t especially active but is moving around a
