Quick note about the March 7th hawkwatch data:
After discussing, Gary Rossmiller and I have decided to change the
Broad-winged Hawk recorded on yesterday's count to an unknown raptor. This
has been updated on hawkcount.org and ebird.
Thanks,

Just spreading the word in case someone is missing their cockatiel. I found it
about 30 minutes ago in City Park by the basketball court near the baseball
diamonds. It was a normal, gray-plumaged bird. It was flying around the elms
and was quite vocal!
Happy birding!

It flew east and perched in trees by the playground when I had to leave.

I just got a call from someone at Fort Collins Parks Department. There are
apparently 2 swans that have been hanging out at Fossil Creek Reservoir for
the last couple days. The ID is uncertain, but hopefully someone has a
chance to go check this out and get a photo.

They have been aerially catching insects in the vicinity of LaPorte and
Bryan (north of City Park) for the last 30 minutes. There are at least 80
of them in various stages of molt.

flying south near Mulberry and Grant just north of campus. I couldn't determine
