Way to go, David!
There are only three previous Colorado eBird records of this giga-rarity of
the southwest!
May, 1990, Jefferson County
May 8, 2013, Baca Count.
April 6, 2017, Prowers County
For details see David's recent post on eBird.
I hope it can be refound and enjoyed by a crowd.
About 20 birders searched Westerly Creek Park in vain for the Hooded Oriole
that was
seen all day yesterday. Some started at dawn. The search goes on.

Hi
Rebecca LaRouche, and Charlie and Lisa Chase and I noted a Caspian Tern
flying over and out of sight a few times at Walden Ponds early today,
Monday.
Both of the Little Blue Herons were at Cottonwood Marsh, but the Tricolored
Heron was awol.
Rebecca found a Cedar Waxwing on a nest.

That's the only Colorado record so far. Another specimen collected from
1927 is an Australian Darter (*Anhinga melanogaster*), an escapee from
someone's darter collection.

* The Lark Buntin
There is an eBird "stake-out hotspot" at the site.
Full name is stakeout Golden-crowned Warbler, 2018. Private, view from road
That pinpoints the location on the eBird hotspot map.
Good luck,

eBird shows that there have been no records of Snowy Owl anywhere near
Colorado since early April this year.
Could happen, but I'm skeptical.
Sharon, do you have any way of finding out whether the recently released
owl was young or adult,
male or female?

On Thu, Apr 26,
I dont see any eBird reports of that quail for yesterday, so the last
sighting was
by Tom Litteral on Friday AM.
I'd be grateful if anyone let's me know if they tried and did or DID NOT
see it. Either post to CObirds or contact me directly.
Thanks very much,
Joe Roller, Denver

Yo
above features and lack of reddish tones
in the "non-dipping" tail.
Loads of swallows, a Yellow Warbler, many other migrants seen by others.
