This morning at about 8:30, while watching the N Cardinal at my feeders, I had
a very brief visit from a tan-striped White-throated Sparrow--too quick for
photos unfortunately. Yesterday I had a couple of White-crowned Sparrows and
Orange-crowned Warblers.

I'm hoping that the two enterprising birders who hired (?) the small fishing
boat (and must have stunning close up photos of the jaeger) might post
observations and/or share their photos with cobirds! The idea occurred to me,

I thought the N. Cardinal that spent the winter in my neighborhood had departed
for more fertile grounds, especially after reading about the sighting in S.
Boulder. But last evening it visited my feeders and this morning it was singing
its heart out for a mate in my backyard.

It looks like the BTG Warbler has moved on. I did not see it this morning,
late afternoon, or evening, and have not heard of anyone finding it during
the day. I've uploaded a few photos to my web gallery:

been about two weeks since my wife last saw it in the yard.
