Debian in package gcc-or1k-elf, and
getting Linux compiled seems doable for someone with the skills (i.e.

Also, if I _did_ know more details then most likely that would
be a secret I was not permitted to share here, for commercial reasons.
I dearly hope you will get your phone soon - and that it lives up to

on libhandy-1-0 (or libhandy-0.0-0). That only covers GTK
apps, though - I am unaware if any such package-level indicators exist
for Qt-based apps like VLC.
The user-friendly way is to use the appstore, which shows only adaptive
apps - and yes, there are only very few so far...

I agree that Github is much more likely to to be discovered: It is
called the network effect - and is totally separat from public/private:

I would buy a microUSB model if made - and I believe it could be made to
work with standard Android for those using F-droid, and therefore have
potential users among those too.

P.S. I am hired by Purism, but do not represent them here (expect me to

Purism or any other corporation).

ir Debian-based software stack.
Purism aims for high-end devices, and I still see a potential for more
"raw" devices - cheaper and clunkier. Some find a $1400 Librem laptop
appealing but others prefer a €240 TERES-1 laptop. I bet it is similar
for phones!

If you mean that you will include network setup snippets with a custom
kernel package, then I recommend that you consider following structuring
instead, by maintaining network config as a separate package - e.g. to
ease users switching to another kernel package.
