Even the older imacs cant read burned CDs, but it varies with the exact CD type. For example I was able to read burned CDRWs on Apple CD300 drive. I have also transferred files by using a hard drive temporarily installed in the computer. Is your ibook running classic or osx? -Original Message

I finally managed to view the URL after removing all the %20's I guess the upgrade could have easily gone to replacing the whole MB and using lifted Apple chips - but probably copyright issues would have stopped them. Who knows what exciting upgrades could have been made - the CC power PC or G
