I use (and recommend) Ghost for my own daily images. But when I need
to image other drives I often use Drive Image XML
(http://www.runtime.org/driveimage-xml.htm).
Alas, for daily backups the app MUST be able to keep x number of
images, and delete the old ones. This is very tricky for apps to do,
Acronis True Image is very good. Not free, but I have it set up to
do an incremental backup.
I did a full backup and then have it do an incremental once a week.
I have an external drive hooked up to the system for this backup to be done on.
