I had a kernel panic during my first install. I was trying to install a
network cups printer. I put in the IP address of the printer but left the
port field blank.
The message said couldn't find the IP, and then there was a kernel panic.
Let me know if more info would be helpful.

In the install, the dialup settings dialog wouldn't go away when I hit OK. I
had to cancel. Used linuxconf after first boot but still dialup wouldn't
work.
I used the same fix as last time - copied /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts from
7.2 - then it works.
