Hi,
I've installed the latest MandrakeFreq on my new box and had no problems
what so ever during the install. However, when I setup my ADSL internet
connection DrakNet asks me if I want to start the connection at boot time,
and although I responded with "yes" nothing is started when I boot the PC
BTW, all packages based on glib2 are requiring libglib-1.3.so.5. So just
a minor release change needs a rebuild of gtk-1.3, pango, libatk, etc.
If all those packages just link to libglib-1.3.so, you can upgrade the
release number without any recompile.
Now i can't deinstall libglib2:

I downloaded this version of the Cooker last night. Everything seemed to go
fine during the install..
It connected to my DSL line with no problems.. However, when I try to

It does switch over to the graphical display, and shows the blue screen with

Hello,
OK, I admit to being totally clueless when it comes to downloading
and building my own KDE. Is an update being worked on? Current version
almost a month old, and non-functional in a fresh install.

BTW: the fetchmail-daemon used to have a typo, the daemon was called

A funny thing is going on with Microsoft these days;
It's got its fingers in our lives in 50 thousand ways.
There's Windows on our palmtops, and, of course, on the PC,
There's Windows for our dashboards, too, and even for TV.
It's not enough our offices run Windows every day;
