hi!
I have installed webmin from ML 7.2 onto my SNF but can't reach it. Why?
I 've tried:
http://localhost:1
https://localhost:1000
http://SNF-IP:1
https://SNF-IP:1
http://router-name:1
https://router-name:1
but all without any success.
Is there a firewallrule against
Hi!
I've trouble to use ntpdate to syncronize a linux-Server behind the SNF.
I use the following script:
#!/bin/sh
ntpdate -v ptbtime1.ptb.de ptbtime2.ptb.de
rustime01.rus.uni-stuttgart.de
[root@server1 andre]# /root/bin/ntp.sh
19 Oct 17:35:53 ntpdate[2279]: ntpdate 3-5.93e Sat Apr 8 15:58:28
if it is installed, have you actually started the web min service, i forgot
to do this and tore my hair out for hours! '/etc/init.d/webmin restart'
do the restart to confirm that it isn't running already, also you will have
to open port 1 on the firewall itself, it's in the dialogue in the
if you remember about me... you know i am setting up SNF as a
firewall/router for my LAN.
Sure goals of SNF are:
* quick standard setup
* quick squid transparent proxy setup
* very good management interface
* very good traffic analysis per NIC
I just added by hand some static routes and all is
Does anyone know if SNF or Manrake work with National Semiconductor
processors, chipsets, and graphics? Specifically the Geode GX1 processor,
NS CS5530A chipset, and NS GX1/CS5530A 2D graphics accelerator.

Where are the docs for xerces-c and libxerces-c(-devel)? the RPMs for
xerces include the sample applications, which seems silly without the
code, and there's no API docs in any of these packages (except the
header files) Is this intentional?

My last remaining problem with 8.1 is these pale yellow panels where
3d widgets have no visible state changes. This manifests in acroread,
diald's dctrl, python apps (probably Tk apps) and a few other stray
places like the menubar and status bar in XEmacs.
Are these all managed by libXaw3d?

There seems to be several bad RPMS in Cooker right now.
When I do a gendistrib, I get several errors on the following RPMS:

these are the files that haven't been updated as of this time.
The mirror maintainer of uninett needs to fix this problem.

Hi Juan,
I have done some testing on this hpt366 update (attached) and it seems to be
working just fine on my Abit BP6 MB. I guess it will break the lba48 stuff,
but that could probably be solved somehow.
Maybe you could implement the patch in the next cooker kernel?
Thanks.

Why no entries in /dev for sound stuff by default? There should be
symlinks to the entries in /dev/sound.
/dev/audio - /dev/sound/audio
/dev/dsp - /dev/sound/dsp
/dev/dspW - /dev/sound/dspW
/dev/midi - /dev/sound/midi
