Hi all!
I have to completely different machines that both have combinations of Mdk
8.2 Beta 2 and OS/2 running.
On both machines mounting HPFS-Volumes fails with an access-violation.
I tried to mount the drives with "mount -t hpfs /dev/hda? /mnt/os2data"
I there anyone to confirm this?

Try to switch of the 2nd level cache in the BIOS settings...
It seems to be a problem there and only appears on initial boot.
One more strange behaviour:

If using grub... edit /boot/grub/menu.lst . Remove quiet from the
kernel command lines.
If using LILO, edit /etc/lilo.conf, removing quiet from the append=

It seems that drakfont requires groff for the proces of importing windows
fonts. and it doesnt get installed by default.
Should it be included in the list of Requires inside the rpm?

There's no default configuration file in /etc, but you can look at
/usr/share/mysql to see many configuration files examples.

floppy, it say we can do not use SILO because we can use the floppy.
I think it is not SILO on x86, but LILO.

I have run vigorous tests on the 320Mb of memory I have on the notebook
- and this appears only on initial boot or the kernel. I have used this
notebook with various Windows releases and Linuxes without any memory
issue - I doubt it highly.
Plus I experience NO memory problems once it boots . .

on my computer?
I satisfied all dependencies for the Cooker RPMs.
Besides, sound doesn't work both in KDE2.2.2 and KDE3beta2.
Previously I was rebuilding SRPMs, and didn't have such problem.

After a fresh install - under KDE - the floppy icon shows as mounted
(without media) - when I put a floppy into the drive and click on the
icon - Konqueror pops up and the drive is mounted and I can see the
data.
But when I try to eject the floppy

When I launch Printerdrake from DrakConf (i.e. embedded mode) I cannot
enter Export Mode. All I get is a gray area with no buttons.

I wanted to add missing Conflicts but then realized, it would change
Packager tag in new RPM.
Now I am not sure what is the correct way to do it. Does packager
reflect the _last_ person who built this RPM?

Hi,
When I launch Program Manager from DrakConf I get a dialog saying "This
tool seems to be broken, as it didn't show up. Try to re-install it". But
the thing is: I has already shown up and seems to be working great.
My Cooker installation is about an hour old (drakconf-0.96-1mdk).
