Users will find their joystick unusable under 8.2 (possibly 8.1 too) as
a regular user.
The fix is simple change this line in /etc/security/console.perms:
joystick=/dev/js[0-9]*
to
joystick=/dev/js[0-9]* /dev/input/js[0-9]*
I'd leave the former just for backwards compatibility...

currently ip-up in /etc/ppp is invoking sendmail when the ppp connection is
established. This leads to problems here. I use sendmail as mail server in my
small home network (3 computers). Sendmail is sending the emails to our email
