Does anybody know of a fix for the kde3 startup sound? Sound server is checked off, log off sound works, all other sounds work, but ONLY the startup sound does not work. I have the latest rpm's from ftp.kde.org. It worked with kde2.2.2, until I installed kde3. I have a sound blaster card.
