Just rebuilt kernel-2.4.18-18mdk & kernel-smp-2.4.18-18mdk and both my
computers' kernel thinks my firewire harddrive is a /dev/sg0 device

My previous (kernel-2.4.18-16mdk?) did recognize the firewire harddrive

Hi all,
I also noticed that when I upgraded to the latest
cooker yesterday, that KDM would not login either my

Heyo,
I'm wondering if this is unique to my situation, however I have

I installed the LIRC RPM 2 days ago, but I had to configure a lot to make things work.
It did not work initially with my home brew receiver on a serial port, because the
'lirc_serial.o' kernel module was not in the RPM. Also, it will not work with devfs
(MDK 8.2).
I edited the init scripts to

Hello,
many of the documentation files from
perl-SGMLSpm-1.03ii-2mdk under /usr/share/doc/perl-SGMLSpm-1.03ii/
have file permissions so that only root can access them.
I suppose that's not intentionally.
For example:

Do we have the gnome-vfs2 version of gnome-vfs-extras in Cooker? I see

I ask because I can't get Nautilus to do SMB for some reason.
Thanks.
