9.1, once ide h/d and one ide cdrom, which was the iso, not the real h/w. I

I think the provides should be versioned. Somehow I got cups installed,
but rpm itself complains about it (when running rpm -Vav --nofiles):

Same problem as before - KDE won't install now due to dependency

I experienced the same thing. If ran repeatedly, eventually the packages and
dependancies are installed.
