P.S. I would be more than happy to fix the RPMs, for the uncrompressed
files, but only if someone will actually care to include them.
's purpose is for spec building, but it can helps ;-)
It has worked. Saved my butt re-building pgcc-2.95.3 . Thanks for the
improvements Pixel! As a side not, the manpage should be updated (says
--short-circuit is only valid with -bc and -bi.)

Scratch that. In come another 250MB of updates. Sorry for the

Not sure as I don't have the ISO image. This is currently the status of
the rpmfind.net and sunet.se mirrors however.

405 RPMs are currently corrupted. Oddly enough none of them start with
letters before g. They are:
gtk+-1.2.6-6mdk.i586.rpm
gtk+-devel-1.2.6-6mdk.i586.rpm
gtk-engines-0.8-1mdk.i586.rpm
gtkglarea-1.2.1-2mdk.i586.rpm
gtkzip-0.5.1-2mdk.i586.rpm
gtop-1.0.6-1mdk.i586.rpm
guavac-1.2-7mdk.i586.rpm
guile

-Uvh installs if package isn't already installed, otherwise it upgrades.
-Fvh only upgrades installed packages.

to me. Should be in /usr/include with glib.h right?

AD1816 chip are supported, however the OPL-3 and
MPU part should work with the standalone drivers, too. A list of
sound cards which are known to work with this driver is located below.
TIA.

I am overall pleased with Oxygen but I have 2 complaints:
1. After doing an upgrade at a high security level, All lines in my
resolv.conf have been commented out.
2. The default gateway has been set to none.
I think that security should not mean willfully modifying existing
settings. After all,
-O6,

Even that's aggressive. I get kernel oopses just running RPM on 2.2.14. Maybe it would
have been wiser to await an official 2.2.14 release?
It is confusing having a patched 2.2.13 called 2.2.14 .

This message was not meant as an exercise in grumbling. I am not a Linux
know-it-all, however I'm not a newbie either. I think most of the issues
I came across require some sort of addressing. Thanks for your time and
happy hacking.
