hat too in
9.1, but required that you loaded it manually.

kernels from 9.0 -> current cooker loading the pwc without the webcam
attached actually works (no freeze). While loading snd-usb-audio always
crashes on me.
The kernel-multimedia-2.4.21.0.18mdk-1-1mdk worked with the webcam plugged
in, but it did not load snd-audio-usb. Trying to load that m
ong_ way to do it.
It only looks nice if you are used to editing settings in your favorite
TEXT editor.
The first thing to do is think of what the target user want's to
accomplish, then make an abstraction model of the problem that works well
with the target user.

don't *have* /sbin/devfsd-try-modload , nor does urpmf find it.
I've seen the same error. Didn't know the workaround though. I don't think
it's related to the missing module loading. That works here with the same
devfsd (1.3.25-30mdk). Although i dont have /sbin/devfsd-try-modload
either.

Check bug http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4109
Bug in some compatability code. Which actually doesnt work. So it's not of
much use at all.
This actually blocks sodipodi.

Even though the change log states that XFS filesystem is merged upstream
there's absolutely no trace of it :/, even in the kernel-source package.

PS: I'm not on the cooker list so please include my mail any questions.

Yeah i'm missing that feature too :/
Was the only sane way to stay updated with cooker =), I know
urpmi --auto-select does that too but it's always every package :/
