After updating from mdk9 to cooker the i8k buttons no longer work..

Whenever I click on a http link within a e-mail it runs it in konqueror but it
runs it from the file in the cache on the hd, so the address bar reads
something like the following:
file:/home/salch/.kde/share/apps/kfmexec/tmp/4672.0.

I have a folder set up in kmail for cooker and it is set up to post to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
With the current kmail in cooker when i push the create new mail button while
the cooker folder is selected it does the following
1. selects the proper identity that is specified for that folder
2. Doesn't
There are still 2 copies of the aironet driver installed
one copy under /lib/modules/2.4.21-pre2.1mdk/drivers/net/pcmcia
which is the old set of drivers, which when removed with the mdk9.0 made it
start working
and the other copy under /lib/moudles/2.4.21-pre2.1mdk/drivers/net/wireless
