How did you do that? Are you aware of the fact that just copying all
the files using the finder does not yield a bootable Mac OS X
installation (because the finder messes up file ownership and
permissions)?
Yes, I installed 10.2 on the firewire drive using the install CDs then copied

(excuse the newbie-ness, i am new to both linux and mailing lists)
This is all on an eMac G4700MHz with 256MB RAM and a 38GB Maxtor HD,
and Geforce 2 MX graphics.
