The WindowMaker menu is not configured as expected. Only terminal apps are present on
the menu.

During the first run of /etc/rc.d/init.d/alsa at boot up tells me that Alsa driver
already running.
Note that /etc/rc.d/init.d/alsasound was not set to run at boot up.

I have tested the cmpci-5.68.1LK-SMP.tar.gz last night and still have that hiss noise.
I believed this has something to do with some part of the kernel.
