2 HD's and 1 cd-rom and one cdr actually ;)
The kernel wasn't loading the ide-scsi module on it's own, PLUS there was no
append="hdd=ide-scsi" in lilo. So I added ide-scsi to lilo for my cdr and I
added it to /etc/modules so that it would insmod ide-scsi and it's working

and even if it was detected, there is yet again a pb with ide-burners in 7.2rc1.

ok - for some reason ide-scsi wasn't being loaded (?). so I added it to
/etc/modules and my cdr works now - it worked right from startup with rc3

for the kernel in lilo so I added those, ran lilo and rebooted, and it still
doesn't detect my Mitsumi 4801 as scsi - only ide.
