Last week I have put the audio/video editor Broadcast 2000 onto the
Cooker and it came up the question whether the drivers necessary for
video handling are included in the Mandrake kernel. It was told me by
the kernel developers that they are included. So Linux Mandrake is ready

I only made it compiling, I didn't do anything with bttv drivers. So I
ask the kernel people for doing this part.
As one can read on the home page of Broadcast 2000 it is GPL, so there
is no problem to put it onto the Cooker. And it IS there, I have
uploaded it and checked whether it is there.

Till After downloading it from the Cooker you simply need to search for a
Till machine which meets the hardware requirements, install it there and
Till thenchoose "Multimedia"/"Video"/"Broadcast 2000" in the main
Till menu. It is recommended to have also xmovie installed.
