versions. They are giving me different results:
Server = 2.5.2p2: no problem
Server = 2.5.2p1: no problem
Server = 2.3.0p1: see the output of ls below

Besides sftp there are more methods for secure file-transfer:
1) Using "scp" of the ssh-package.
2) Use tunneling with ssh (needs local ssh-client and
remote ssh-daemon).
I also use ssh-tunneling for a kind of "secure-pop".
