Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the correct mailing list for my problem(s); so I
beg your pardon and advice if this mailing is inappropriate.
I have a Mandrake 7.1 up and running, and installed the
XFree86-*-4.0.1-17mdk rpm's on top of it, both servers and libraries. I
encountered two problems:
The machine is a dual-Celleron with a Voodoo3 3000 card.
No machine hangups, crashes or alike. Only a strange "freeze" appears
sometimes in a virtual console. However it vanishes after returning to X
and back.

Hi,
I mirror my SRPMS from sunsite.uio.no. The latest XFree86 src.rpm seems
to be corrupt. Can someone verify this?
The XFree86 src.rpm on my system produces:
md5sum
07a7a73ba9d0c1e4f25173d7919fe8bc XFree86-4.0.1-12mdk.src.rpm
[stefan@alpha SRPMS]$ rpm --rebuild XFree86-4.0.1-12mdk.src.rpm

Hello,
I seem to have various copies of this scattered around my system. When this
happened to me I set up a link to one of them ! It is a link anyway to
libXpm.so.4.11 !
Then someone told me that I needed the xpm package (find it in your cooker
site). There is also one in /usr/i586-glibc20-lin
I was tripped up by this. libXpm appears to have been broken out into
a seperate package. Look for xpm-3.4k-8mdk.i586.rpm in cooker.
