If you use pre-compiled kernel, they are built in. If you compile your own
from kernel-source, you have to go in /usr/src/linux/alsa directory after
having installed your new kernel, then run casual
./configure

(CD-Burner, T-DSL connection,Zip-drive...) worked well
for me, without my soundcard. I've got a Ensonique 97
based card. Mandake detected the card, but It doesn't
work. So I tried to compile the kernel my self, and I
