I am not 100 % sure, but as far as i know the 3C920 is a modified 3C905, the 3C920
seems to be mainly used as onboard-device on mobo's, so it could be possible that the
3c905 module works, at least in Windows you can get the 3c920 to work with the 3c905
drivers, at work we have some HP

I haven't followed the discussion from the beginning, but here is my
contribution to the discussion...
I have Asus NForce2 motherboard which comes with 3c920 (Tornado) chipset
and it works just fine. (Uptodate cooker is detecting it in the harddrake
and uses 3c905 module for drivers...)

have been looking at 3Com; the 3c920 is basically the same controller-chip as on the
3c905 Series NICs, it is for use as onboard-device on mobo's and in Notebooks, I have
this chip as onboard-NIC on my ASUS A7N8x and the Windows-Drivers that came with it

Nowadays, all the CD are 700M except some RW.
A their cost is about 0.5¤, I don't see for which reason it would be
