I tried it from something called failsafe and it said it changed
something to root/dev? I can't say for sure. It moved so fast and
auto confirmed the choices before I could decide what to do.

The boot process has started on it's own and it does not allow me to
type in linux single. It marches right on fixing the issues and then
it hangs again on this
