pleTalk, so it shows up in the Chooser for
Macs and was printable by all platforms using TCP/IP. WAY faster too.

Abe,
I've had good luck with the cheapest SMC TX cards. They sell for about
$12 to $15 and WILL work with Mac OS too... at least with OS 8 through
9.2. I haven't tried it with OS-X, but Linux MDK PPC works fine with
them and uses the rtl8139 driver..
Go for it..

Stew,
I have a G3/350 B&W with Rage-128, and would be happy to test if that

As a workaround, you can go to the select individual packages screen in
the installer and choose any of the Cups items. The dependency check
will get the other items. Ignore the printer setup in the instller. Once
you have finished installing, log in and go to the Configuration >

I have a G3/350 Blue/White Rev-1 Mac with an Adaptec 2906 SCSI card.
The card and the external Sony CDU948S CD-R drive are both recognized in the
boot process. However, the drive cannot be mounted. I get "Could not enter
directory /mnt/cdrom2"

grep cdrom /etc/fstab
