Completely unsupported and based on some (relatively) older KDE3
packages from cooker, but they're in unsupported/8.2/ppc/kde3 on the
FTP mirrors (should be on most by now I suspect).
I'll only say that they work, for the most part, for me. Some things
youo may have to remove are

I share your compliment about KDE3. I have at the moment only installed on my
PC and I knew also problems with sound. Sylvain advised me to install the
rpms from ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/contrib/texstar/
(this link being on http://www.pclinuxonline.com/) and he was right
i have been running kde3 cvs for a few months on my powerbook and i
absolutly love it. fast and beautiful! the only problem i had was that sound
through arts wasen't working but i wasn't even sure if it was working in
kde2. the only thing i hope is that the install of the rpms go
