Check the cookies after the shortest time in the recipe. When you touch a
cookie lightly with your fingertip, it should spring back if the cookies are
done. If it doesn't, leave them in for another minute.
I remember some one on the list suggested doing a test bake with one cookie
This is a good idea for making scrambled eggs too. I always splatter them
out, then it gets on the burner and stinks up a storm.
