Or rather, how good a programmer are you, and how much do you like to
program?
Hello,
I'm stumped with an installation problem, and hoping for a sanity check.
Courier is looking like a great replacement for Qmail for those who need a
bit more functionality, thanks Sam! Hopefully Courier can do what I need.
I've set up courier (via rpm build) on RH7.3, configured authdae

thank you I was looking at every log except for the maillog. Once I looked
there I noticed that it was looking for imapd.pem. I ended up just disableing
TLS I couldn't get it to work properly. But at least I'm getting
authenticated now.
thank you.

Hi,
I've setup a mailfilter within webmail to forward certin messages to
an=20
external email adress. Now as soon as a mail arrives that matches this

i'm getting the following email in my local maildir:

In an effort to squeeze a little more write performance out of the drives
on my Courier IMAP server I mounted the IMAP partition using the noatime
flag.
This flag increases performance because the drive does not have to
update the inode time of every file touched.
Will this cause problems with

I can't seem to find the right way of doing it and the Debian
installation does not give any instructions (that I can fine).

Mattias,
I am not sure how much Courier uses the query fields in LDAP. I have
found that it doesn't seem to use the "LDAP_MAILROOT" or "LDAP_MAILDIR"
either, so it *is* possible that this is just another field that doesn't
seem to work. (not knocking, just trying to work with it...)

The key word is 'something'. From what I can tell, there's nothing wrong
with this makefile.

Hi Sam,
i've test the new version with gcc 3.2, but I think something is wrong.
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I/usr/local/openssl/current/include
-I/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.0/include -I./../.. -I../.. -I./../../courier

Hello.
I'm currently using Courier-imap 1.5.3 with authldap. Courier-imap does
not seem to recognize when I change the ldap attribute 'mailQuota'.
Courier-imap and Qmail are the only applications that access the
Maildirs.
If I don't remember wrong, Courier-imap does recalculate the quota every
