Hmmm... Better apply that patch to the imapd-ssl config. build as well.
It has the same problem. I thought it was a substitution that arose
with the install script that forgot to grab this ${bindir} and replace
it with the configured bindir for the build.
I wonder which is the case?

After some pitiful 'ltrace'ing on my part, I have narrowed down my
problem with 'courieresmtp' to the the following lib. calls. I am
imposing, once again on the group, to ask if anyone knows the code well
enough to localize what is happening in the trace below. For the life
of me, I can't
