when using XWin soft, an X window opens, but the program stops after

I messed about with the host.def.in and got it to sort of work. My

Where the directory does exist, does have fonts.dir, no font server is
being specified. I can't see any problem with permissions.

resolution and it worked! Then I added two -screen
options with the correct native resolutions and it

I'm afraid if you are using older versions of Cygwin/X. Please
confirm its version by 'cygcheck -c XFree86-xserv' and upgrade
if it is older than 4.3.0-59.
