I like them, they are nicer than the 2.0.3. Thank you very much to
the team.

I am a bit overwhelmed.
I had 7 helpful responses to my request.
It has taken some time to go through them all and, where .xmp files were
provided, try to compare the PP steps that were used to achieve the
result. I'm still working through this.
Almost everyone managed to pull a

Handling files in DT is much more difficult (for me) than using a file
manager or the command-line. I think the skulls are a really weird
option on dt's part, since you can't do *anything* in dt to resolve
the problem. You either have to fix the file locations (move them
back, restore deleted

Why not use the OS to take care of this? Create a directory on the new
drive, move the collection, create a symlink or mount your new file system
so that it appears at the same path as the old one.
Of course you can use the symlink approach even for partial moves.

Ah ah! That's not really a file manager as there is no notion of
directory. You just move around *selected* pictures to some other
You're welcome! I don't know how the move feature fits with the "no
filemanager" policy, but I don't want to point it out in case they take the
feature away :-)

I didn't realize that, since the 'no file manager' policy, I didn't
even think of it.
You can move the images from inside DT. Select the images you want to move,
and then under "Selected images" click the "Move" button.

-vignetting (to focus image on the bird)
-color zones (increase saturation on the blues)

Hi,
I'm not an expert. Just curious and without formal DT knowledge.
Anyway, I like what I can do with my photos with DT.
Here's my try. Tell me what you think.

Hello All,
I am struggling get a reasonable result from post processing a particular
image.
I wonder if some of you expert DT users out there would be prepared to
have a look, and if you can achieve a satisfactory result, provide me with
your .xmp so I can learn a few things?
