an earlier posting) I now find that DT importsĀ more images than there
are on my SD card. The camera tells me my card has 52 images; Windows
tells me my card has 52 images. Lightroom finds and imports 52 images.

always many ways to do things but the way I get my images into darktable
is:-
Insert SD card into PC
Move the RAW image files to a //WIP/ directory on my HDD using a GUI
file manager
Start darktable
Use GUI file manager to drag
