I use folders. DT allows navigating by folders (so these are my "film rolls") Then it is broken down to sub folders. 1. folder for original images 2. folder for renamed 3. 4x6 high res 4. 4x6 web etc. The export is done with presets. and it is with relative paths I am sorting 2000 images and even
