Sekhar,
Not sure if you have looked at the clock requirements for VPIF on
DA850/OMAP-L138, it seems like we also need similar support - CDCE913.
I believe, it supports only one clock - 27MHz for VPIF display.
May be we could re-use the same driver? The values and registers do match with

How do you ensure that only one of these drivers is loaded at a time?
Or is the set of supported devices is board-specific (in which case the
board code should have an idea how to properly set the configuration for
the devices that are supported on that board)?
The DM365 EVM has

The default NAND configuration for DM6446 EVM is to use a small block NAND

Chris,
There is a section in the LSP 1.20 release notes about this.
The section is - Re-programming the MAC Address on your DM355 EVMs in the
PSP_##_##_##_###/lsp_psp_01_20_00_014_release_notes.html file.
You will need to use a temporary U-Boot binary -

Hi,
1.30.00.23 is the Beta DVSDK which includes the Beta LSP component –
1.20.00.004_1.
The production DVSDK release is 1.30.00.40 which includes the production LSP
component – 1.20.00.014.
There is a latest LSP update 1.20.01.004 (patch level 14 release) that includes
the patches for custom
Chris, Stephen,
Have you tried using these custom patches from TI? There was a recent LSP 1.20
patch release from TI to address the SDHC, SDIO support and MMC/SD performance
improvements. The release is patch level 14 against LSP 1.20.
Thanks

Hi,
Alternatively, you can use the sysfs attribute to tune this system module
register. LSP 1.20 production release introduced this sysfs attribute. The
issue is due to the DDR bandwidth limitation and this register allows you
change the priorities.

Hi,
Ideally, these sym-links would be created by the kernel build procedure.
At the ~/workdir/lsp/ti-davinci directory, if you execute the following
commands C “make davinci_dm355_evm_defconfig” and “make uImage”, you will see
include/asm and include/asm/arch sym-links created to the right
Manas,
The current version of LSP 1.20 for DM355 does not support SDIO. Similar to the
patches 38 - 45 against LSP 1.10 for DM6446, we will be releasing SDIO patches
for DM355 against LSP 1.20. These patches would be available some time in early
July.
Thanks
Sneha
Vim,
Looks like the video settings in the bootargs are incorrect to work
with the DVSDK 1.30 Production Release. (I am assuming you are using the
DVSDK production release 1.30.00.40).
There is a change in the video display architecture to make V4L2 display
driver and frame buffer display driver
Gopi,
I am assuming you are trying to use DaVinci resizer driver on DM355.
This is not possible.
There is a different hardware module to handle the resizer and preview
engine capabilities on DM355 - IPIPE.
We have a separate driver - IPIPE driver for handling both resizer and
preview
Hi,
setenv bootcmd 'nboot 0x8070 0 x040;bootm'
This means the U-Boot would read the Kernel image at NAND device offset
0x40 into RAM location 0x8070. The bootm then boots the Linux
Kernel at 0x8070.
Probably what you are missing is to store the kernel image at NAND
device

Hi Sneha,
Yes, of course it worked. I just don't want to receive an interrupt
at rising edge.
Thanks,
Viet Hoang.

Viet,
There are GPIO Kernel APIs in the DM355 DVEVM software to use a GPIO pin
as an interrupt.
Here is an example how it was done for the DM9000A Ethernet controller.
// GPIO1 is Ethernet interrupt GPIO
u32 gpio = 1;
/* Enable interrupt generation from
BJ,
The link down message is normal, coming from the DM9000A Ethernet
driver, before actually trying out the link negotiation. You should then
see a link up message once the negotiation is complete.
