connect just fine, as can any ColdFusion (cfm) application using ODBC.

connecting from?
Also look at your connect statement, since after you resolve you problem it
will probably fail on the connect anyways. Run perldoc DBD::Oracle and see
the connection parameters. You must also include SID.
