Does anyone know if ANY video/film footage was shot of the Watkins Glen Summer Jam?  This is the biggest rock festival in history up to that time and I can't find a single moving image of the show.  It was bigger than Woodstock, and for that fact it should have been documented visually!  IF anyone

Several years ago someone told me that they viewed black and white video footage of the 09/19/70 Fillmore East show,  This was in the Maryland/DC area of the country. The guy (whose name I have forgotten) saw it back in the late 70s or early 80s, and recalled the Dark Star and Phil & Pigpen'

UPDATE  OTHER ONES TOUR 2002   BOBBY has a full beard and grey!!   MICKEY is clean shaven and I think is wearing glasses sometimes.   BILLY is clean shaven. In the OTHER ONES 2002 publicity photo he is wearing a yamulke. Did he become Jewish?   PHIL is clean shaven

I heard that at this show some tragic failures occured on and offstage.  Apparently there was a lot of difficulty getting to the venue, and the Dead played a less-than-stellar show. Any attendees have recollections of this show?Is the entire show available in CD yet?   Barry

Contemporary sources mention that at the Free Stage at the Woodstock Festival 1969, the Grateful Dead spent hours jamming before and after their mangled set on the big stage.   Does anyone know if this was recorded or filmed? I haven't seen any of this, although I did see an outtake of Garcia
