Anything else?
Does anyone know if ANY video/film footage was shot of the Watkins Glen Summer Jam? This is the biggest rock festival in history up to that time and I can't find a single moving image of the show. It was bigger than Woodstock, and for that fact it should have been documented visually! IF anyone
Does anyone know the actual dates of the Side

There were Garcia/Wales shows from May to August of
that year. What do the tape boxes say that the actual dates

Actually, the Band's set had not been
released commercially. There was a CD that came out in 1995 called THE BAND
LIVE AT WATKINS GLEN, but it actually was a fraud. That CD was a collection of
studio recordings plus some crowd noise added in to give it a live
feel. The Band pulled this fro

Here's something you might
enjoy that I posted on the GD newsgroup Rec.Music.gdead a while back. It's

If you recall from the GRATEFUL DEAD MOVIE Bill Graham comes onstage and asks
for the GD crew to "get your asses out here. Ramrod, Healy, Jackson, etc..."

I heard that at this show some tragic failures

Any attendees have recollections of this
show?Is the entire show available in CD yet?
Barry
