The Traffic tape in question was recorded by the same crew, and in the same manner, as
the now correctly identified 11/16/70 Dead Fillmore East show. It was the next taped
show at F.E. and this is why the early reel copies of 11/16/70 that circulated back in
the 1970's had the Bill Graham Traff
The information currently contained in Deadlists for these two dates is correct.
Correction to my previous post: The Mama Tried, Truckin -> The Other One sequence follows Not Fade Away -> Goin Down the Road -> Not Fade Away, and before Uncle John's Band. I mispoke by saying it followed Big Railroad.
The newly circulating copy of this show contains: 1) Me and My Uncle between Casey Jones and Friend of the Devil, 2) The complete Chinacat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider, 3) The complete Hard to Handle, with the Traffic members coming on stage to three separate cheers from the audience beforehand.

CD, because it is missing. Therefore, what
I've had a reel copy of the 2nd set since early 1980 and here's what I was told back

This was essentially an experiment to see just how good an audience recording could be
made. The deck was a Technics 1506 re
What John has described as scans of the front and back of the handbill from
the 4/71 Dead shows are actually the front cover and an inside page from the
program, not a handbill. The circular pages with the song listings are
inserts that sit on top of the reels, which then sit in thin plastic ho
