I've just upgraded from 2.6.12 to 2.6.14-2 (-amd64-k8-smp).
The snd module and the modules for my sound card refuse to load. Below is the
dmesg log.
Is there an update coming? Is there something I can do?

nce ide-scsi is not in your bootparams (the "command line" above), my guess
is that you have ide-scsi in /etc/modules. If you do, remove it. Then
reboot.
If that isn't the case, did you compile your kernel? Maybe you turned ide-scsi
on?
As of 2.6.0, noone should use ide-scsi (unles
pegtools, which you should find on marillat (and source on SF).

The two PCI-X slots can be used as standard PCI slots.
The only thing to watch for is to make sure the DDR is in the right slots, or
it won't boot (at all).
