kernel, but after one screen of stuff the boot process stops. Actually it

The problem is not reduction, at least not AFAICS. mklibs is not
supposed to reduce /lib/brltty/lib*.so. It only checks that
all referenced symbols are actually defined somewhere (in a library),

Downloaded resc, root, driver images from May 18th. Everything works up
fine until i try to download 'base' system over the network. Network is
up (pinging www.debian.org works) and after the "Release" file is
downloaded error reports "cant download adduser". How can solve this

for the first base install? Because after reboot, the accessibility
related drivers should already work. Otherwise you reboot into darkness.

Yes, floppy-retriever on a net-1440 floppy would be
useful IMHO.
Just dumping a udeb on a floppy seems like a convenient

I was able to configure it with the installer, but the reboot failed. I think
the devices are set up in the wrong order.

One way to fix this would be to rename S50frontend such that it
runs before S25env2debconf. However, this smells fishy since
IMO S25env2debconf shouldn't try to load the frontend module in the
first place, should it?

Can somebody please implement a parameter which tells debootstrap not
to relly on SHA256sums and use MD5sums instead?
About my issue with no SHA256Sums in Packages.gz I already opend
another bug [1].

I created a patch for apt-move to solve the SHA256 issue. After I
applied my patch to apt-move, debootstrap accepts the local mirror as
expected.
For reference please have a look at the bug [1].

As Lennart says, you could try a ready to use d-i iso from
http://kmuto.jp/debian/d-i/.
Download one of the custom images and try it because it would maybe the
easiest way for you.
