Hello David,
unfortunately the package still depends on xmms. This is unnecessary
because beep-media-player also suffices. I would have to install not

Thanks,

The problem is, there is still a symlink from a previous version there if
you upgrade.
Suppose we start from a system without any linux-headers-2.6.12-1* package.
Then we install the -2 version (which used to be in unstable) of
linux-headers-2.6.12-1 and the -686 one:

The emacs-goodies-el package doubles an entry in a Dired menu
("Immediate -> Edit File names") on Emacs 22 (aka emacs-snapshot).
This is because Emacs 22 already contains the wdired.el package and
has a Dired menu entry for it

I think that dependency should be changed to Recommends, because there
are perfectly fine uses of libwmf0.2-7 where gsfonts are not needed at

Due to the C++ transition, libgmp3 is not available anymore in unstable (and is

it is now uninstallable in unstable.

Hi!
I announced this transition long ago, described how to fix it, and
even provided a patch:

Please use pg_config to determine the correct header path.
Thanks,
