Hi,
For the time being, until we get to discuss a framework that makes
dvipdfmx functional, I'd like to make dvipdfmx package functional
again.
Let's make sid usable, kay?
diff -ru dvipdfmx-20050831-orig/data/config/cid-x.map

To properly fix the problem at hand, dvipdfmx should probably have a
directory where it reads all configuration sequentially from.
I think update-dvipdfmx can do that.
Where is it?
The Debian maintainer of dvipdfmx decided to patch dvipdfmx to support
it. See Bug#271468.

Hi,
I've checked, tetex-base, and it provides map files in
/usr/share/texmf-tetex/fonts/map/
and has files under
/etc/texmf/updmap.d/
Probably ptex-base should provide map files somewhere,
so that it can be used by dvipdfmx.

They could be moved to the APTCACHE and should be removed before
creating the base.tgz archive.

Hi,
I'm opening a fresh bugreport.
I'd like to discuss how to properly implement support for multiple map
files with dvipdfmx. Current situation is :
