installed brasero-cdrkit after rebuilding all the packages with debug
symbols enabled, I didn't have that installed before, and with that

The problem boils down to Dpkg::Version not handling a version string
with only a revision the same way that dpkg does. The attached patches
add a test for this scenario and make Dpkg::Version behave the same way
dpkg does.

The reason is that I would like to see the upstream solution for
the getpwuid(0)->pw_dir part. I fully agree that we should not
set HOME to /root.
